Ruptura's Director General defends her Dottorato di Ricerca thesis - Structural challenges to the protection of nature's rights in Latin America: a comparative study between Ecuador and Brazil


Today (08/04/2024) Ruptura's Director General, Leura Dalla Riva, defended her doctoral thesis, becoming a Doctor in "Comparative Law and Integration Processes" with the title Doctor Europaeus by the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli - UNICAMPANIA (Italy).


The work, entitled "Structural challenges to the protection of nature's rights in Latin America: a comparative study between Ecuador and Brazil", was rated "Excellent" by a panel made up of leading legal experts, including the chairman of the panel and the research supervisor, Prof. Dr. Domenico Amirante, as well as Prof. Dr. Alexandra Aragão. Mention should also be made of the work carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ruben Martinez Dalmau during his studies at the Universitat de València in Spain.
