Lecture "Anticolonizing green criminology" with Karine A. França

In March, we resumed the activities of the "Ruptura Debate Cycle: Socio-environmental and climate challenges for the 21st century" for 2024, welcoming speaker Karine Agatha França to talk about "Anticolonizing green criminology".


The Cycle of Debates is part of Teaching Project No. 060146, carried out in conjunction with the Postgraduate Program in Law at the Federal University of Santa Maria (PPGD/UFSM).

Speaker: Karine Agatha França

PhD student in Law at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Masters in Criminal Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), with a Capes scholarship. Philosophy undergraduate student at UFSC. Lawyer. Researcher in the Power, Control and Social Harm Group, coordinated by Prof. Dr. Marília De Nardin Budó. Researching green criminology, anti-coloniality, transitional justice, environmental restorative justice and environmental victimization.
