The documentary, released in 2012, analyzes the growth of childhood obesity in Brazil, which at the time affected a third of Brazilian children. The film draws attention to insufficient food and nutrition education in the country, which encourages poor eating habits, especially excessive consumption of ultra-processed foods, which are largely associated with chronic non-communicable diseases - diabetes, cardiovascular problems and cancer.
